At Upscale8, your privacy is the primary feature. Because of how the technology works, I have fundamentally less access to your data than traditional web applications.

1. Your Images Are Completely Private

All image and video processing happens 100% locally on your device GPU. I do not upload, transmit, store, or view your media. Files never leave your browser.

2. Data Storage & Caching

To make the application work, your browser downloads the AI model weights (the files that tell the AI how to enhance your images) the first time you use a specific tool. Your browser caches these files locally (via IndexedDB or the Cache API) to save bandwidth on future visits.

3. Third-Party Services and Cookies

While I do not track your images, I use limited third-party services to keep this project free:

• Google AdSense: I use Google AdSense to display advertisements. AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
• Analytics: I may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand overall traffic, but I do not track individual user behavior or connect it to personal identities.
